About the Role
A leading residential developer is seeking an experienced Regional Technical Manager to oversee multiple high-end residential schemes. This senior leadership role is equivalent to the head of Technical in other businesses and is pivotal to the successful delivery of both current and upcoming projects. The role is hands‑on and site-focused, with responsibility for managing a team of local technical managers and coordinators across multiple developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead technical delivery across multiple schemes, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
* Oversee RC frame and traditional construction methods, providing expert guidance to project teams.
* Manage, mentor, and develop local technical managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
* Act as the primary technical interface between design, construction, and senior management teams.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure high standards of workmanship.
* Support the planning and delivery of upcoming projects within the development pipeline.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across projects.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in a senior technical role within residential construction, with exposure to both RC frame and traditional build methods.
* Proven experience managing technical teams across multiple projects.
* Strong site presence and the ability to travel regularly to multiple schemes.
* Demonstrable ability to deliver complex projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence teams and stakeholders.
* Hands‑on, proactive, and highly solution‑focused.
