This role is within the Modern Desktop Product Group, End User Services. You will design and deliver new services across various technical areas within the scope of Modern Desktop. The role is primarily design and project-oriented, with an 80/20 split between delivery/support.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver high-quality IT services as a recognized expert.
* Provide technical governance across projects, BAU, and SIPs.
* Collaborate with designers and architects for program consistency.
* Advise colleagues and customers on feasibility and risks, supporting initiatives.
* Create infrastructure designs and evaluate solutions against requirements, balancing costs and risks.
* Manage workload using JIRA EPICS and Stories.
* Plan activities and resources for project and SIP outcomes.
* Deliver new technical services, managing third-party services and vendors.
* Promote IT community engagement through Viva, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
* Contribute to product and IT strategies, roadmaps, and standards, engaging vendors as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
* Extensive experience in third-line technical support roles.
* Design and delivery experience of technical services in complex enterprise environments.
* Recognition as SME in relevant product groups.
* Proven approach to service design and improvement.
* Experience with a global user base and managed service providers.
* Vendor roadmap knowledge and strategic planning skills.
* Proficiency in Intune, Windows 11, Autopilot, PowerShell, Modern Management.
