Collection and Network Driver – Royal Mail
Location: Harrogate Delivery Office, HG1 4EE
Job type: Permanent contract • Hours: 20 hours per week, 5 days across Monday – Sunday, working between 15:00 – 19:00 and 10:00 – 14:00

Responsibilities
* Be part of a team of drivers delivering and collecting mail and parcels.
* Check post-boxes, visit post offices, and meet with business customers at prearranged times.
* Collect mail and drop it off at our processing centres; sort mailbags and ensure each piece reaches the right place at the right time.
* Deliver much more than letters and parcels – deliver for the people and the communities you serve.

* Upbeat, independent and self-motivated

* Happy walking for long periods and going outside in any weather
* Strong sense of community and take pride in what you do
* Looking for a role with flexible shift patterns
* Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
What We Do For You
* A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours)
* Paid overtime with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for hours over 40 per week
* 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your hours if below 40 per week) and option to buy extra leave

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-40 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
