Salary: £88 – £110 per day

GSL Education are recruiting an Autism Support Teaching Assistant for a specialist provision near Pocklington, supporting pupils who benefit from structured routines and autism-friendly approaches.

The setting provides a calm, nurturing environment for pupils with autism and associated needs. Staff focus on communication, sensory regulation and helping learners build confidence and independence.
Responsibilities
* Support autistic pupils in class and small groups
* Use visual supports and structured strategies
* Assist with emotional and sensory regulation
* Work alongside teachers and SEN professionals
Requirements
Experience supporting autistic learners, understanding of sensory needs, a patient approach and an enhanced DBS.
