This role will see you oversee engineering delivery from early design stages right through to commissioning and handover across a highly regulated, safety‑critical environment. You'll have ownership of multidisciplinary engineering activities, working closely with design partners, technical specialists, and senior stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered to exceptional standards of safety, quality, and performance. Key Responsibilities Lead HVAC and Building Services engineering activities across design, installation, commissioning, and handover. Manage design consultants, D&B partners, and internal engineering teams. Ensure all engineering outputs meet strict regulatory, quality, and assurance standards. Act as the subject-matter lead for internal and external stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement, best practice, and technical excellence across engineering delivery. Oversee installation, commissioning, compliance checks, and assurance processes. Support tendering, scoping, programme development, and mobilisation activities. Essential Experience & Skills Strong engineering leadership experience on complex, large-scale projects. Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivery partners. In-depth experience in HVAC and Building Services within regulated or safety-critical environments. Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, assurance, and technical governance. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline. Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent. Currently have or can qualify for security clearance Desirable Experience working on secure, high-assurance, or highly regulated infrastructure. Familiarity with alliance models, collaborative working arrangements, or joint venture environments. Membership of professional institutions (e.g., CIBSE, ICE, IMechE). Why Join?
