<div><p>We are looking for an SEO Executive to join our Total Platform team at NEXT, based from NEXT Head Office in Leicestershire!</p><h3>About The Role</h3><p>You’ll be part of NEXT’s fast‑growing SEO team – our largest online channel. This is a content‑led role with roughly a 60/40 split between copywriting and SEO, focused primarily on page optimisation. Any technical SEO knowledge would be a welcome bonus. Leveraging keyword research, you will write engaging, on‑brand content for NEXT and our Total Platform partner brands and implement the wider organic strategy across the portfolio.</p><h3>What You’ll Take On</h3><ul><li>Create high‑quality content across our portfolio of websites: editorials, on‑page copy, category descriptions, metadata, and blog content.</li><li>Write in each brand’s tone of voice, maintaining consistency across all output.</li><li>Conduct keyword research and gap analysis to identify content opportunities and optimise existing pages.</li><li>Use SEO tools and keyword research data to improve and optimise existing content.</li><li>Work with the SEO team to build and maintain a content optimisation roadmap.</li><li>Support content strategy for link building campaigns and new Total Platform client onboarding.</li><li>Collaborate with internal copywriting teams and external agencies, sharing SEO best practice.</li><li>Keep stakeholders informed on progress through regular reporting and clear communication.</li></ul><h3>What You’ll Bring</h3><ul><li>Proven SEO experience, in‑house or at an agency.</li><li>Excellent writing skills with a genuine passion for content creation.</li><li>Experience creating on‑brand content informed by keyword research and competitor analysis.</li><li>Comfortable using tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Search Console, and similar.</li><li>Experience working on SEO for ecommerce websites.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.</li><li>Up‑to‑date with current SEO trends including E‑E‑A‑T, Core Web Vitals, and AI developments.</li><li>A team player who communicates well at all levels of the business.</li><li>Must have a flexible attitude and the ability to work under pressure.</li><li>Track record of analysing SEO trends and opportunities, providing and implementing recommendations to improve visibility within SERPs.</li></ul><h3>Desirable</h3><ul><li>Experience with large B2C or fashion/lifestyle eCommerce brands.</li><li>International SEO experience, including content optimisation across multiple markets and languages.</li><li>Knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals.</li><li>Experience managing external agencies.</li></ul><h3>Additional Support</h3><p>We aim to support all candidates during the application process and are happy to provide workplace adjustments when necessary.
