Overview
Role: Area Sales Manager - Power division. Employer: Carrier Climate Solutions Transportation / SLD Pumps & Power. Location: North UK. Contract type: Full time, permanent.
This role is responsible for driving Power revenue growth in the North territory, offering technical support to colleagues, staying current with energy and power innovations, and maintaining strong relationships with rehire partners.
Responsibilities
* Building strong, quality, value-adding relationships with the Power customer base
* Providing technical power solutions to customer project specifications
* Growing sustainable power source solutions and developing new business in the North sales territory
* Working closely with the depot network and internal Service Centre colleagues
* Continuous personal development on product and application knowledge
* Contributing to and working with SLD data systems, especially CRM
* Managing commercials to ensure order profitability
* Increasing awareness of SLD Pumps & Power and associated companies within the region
* Providing reports on customer enquiries, hires and sales in the designated area
* Assisting in the collection of payments due for services provided in the designated area
To Be Successful In The Role You Should Have
* Power sales experience, sustainable solutions (energy storage, solar panels, etc.)
* Experience in plant hire would be beneficial
* Fully capable on Microsoft Office software
* UK driving license
* Great communication and negotiation skills
* Customer-focused and result-driven attitude
