Staff Analog/Mixed‑Signal Design Engineer
Analog Devices is seeking an experienced Staff Analog/Mixed‑Signal Design Engineer with proven experience in clock synthesizers design. This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑performance consumer audio products within a collaborative, diverse, and knowledge‑sharing environment. It is an ideal position to perfect design skills and work within the design team to influence architecture decisions at the system level.
Responsibilities
* Lead architecture definition of clock synthesizers to achieve high performance audio processing
* Work with the analog team to execute designs from abstract level down to transistor level
* Provide guidance and instructions for layout implementation, bench evaluation and production test to ensure successful delivery of the design
* Actively participate in bench evaluation with support from evaluation team
* Communicate effectively design choices, performance and progress
* Provide mentorship and technical leadership for junior engineers
Requirements
* Electronic Engineering/Computer Engineering degree with 5+ years of progressive experience in architecting and designing clock synthesizers (PLL, FLL, MDLL, ADPLL)
* Experience in clock performance analysis (PSS/Pnoise)
* Hands‑on experience on low power design of relevant clock synthesis block such as VCO, loop filter, phase detectors
* Proficient with Spectre simulation tools or equivalent and behavioral/system‑level modeling tools
* Good understanding of semiconductor device physics
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multi‑site, cross‑functional engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with bench clock analysis tools
* Good understanding of signal processing such as data‑converter and DSP
* Experience in audio IC design
* Passion for Audio
