The school we are supporting is looking for strong, inspiring, passionate, and confident SEND teaching assistants equipped with excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners who may need extra support. Students here will need support with various SEN needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and communication, and mobility difficulties. This will range from cover for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements supporting children in education. This will be the ideal opportunity to gain an abundance of experience to add to your profile.

In this role, you will be working with students creating positive relationships and an inclusive learning environment. The role would have an immediate start. Some of your key responsibilities may include supporting learning, providing individual and group support, helping to prepare learning materials, and looking after the mental and physical well-being of students.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant:
* Experience in assisting young learners in education on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment
* Team Teach trained
* Child and Adult DBS
* Be calm and caring
* Experienced with challenging behaviour and resilient
