Role: Production Supervisor. Location: Ashton. Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + a performance bonus paid every six months. Hours: 8am to 5pm, with an early finish on Fridays.
Due to the nature of the business, successful candidates will be required to undergo 3 years of references and a DBS check.
Duties
* Must be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.
* Previous supervisor experience essential and must be within a manufacturing environment.
* Ideal candidate will be a timed served sheet metal worker / fabricator.
* Ability to read / understand drawings and aerospace specifications.
* Key process knowledge: material cutting (CNC rout or punch), heat treatment, forming (hand form, rubber press, press-brake), various inspection methods.
* Key skills: MRP, problem solving, effective decision making, waste elimination, continuous improvement identification, energetic and forward thinking, excellent communication and people management skills.
