We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data InputClerk to join our busy GP surgery on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This role is essential in ensuring that patient records are accurate, up todate, and managed in line with NHS standards. You will play a key part in supporting clinical and administrative teams by maintaining high-quality data within our systems.
Main duties of the job
* Accurately input and update patient information onto clinical systems
* Process and code clinical correspondence, including hospital letters and reports
* Ensure all data is recorded in line with practice protocols and NHS guidelines
* Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data protection requirements
* Support the administration team with general clerical duties as needed
* Identify and resolve data discrepancies or errors
* Work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure the integrity of patient records

Qualifications
* Educated to O level, GCSE grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications/experience.
* Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
* Previous work experience in a GP practice.
* Knowledge of current NHS organisational structures.
* Knowledge of NHS confidentiality, data protection policies.
