Title: Business Development Executive – Cold Chain & Biotech Transport
Preferred Location: Raleigh/Durham area (open to candidates outside the area willing to drive in for meetings)

The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a high-performing sales hunter to spearhead business development in the biotech and pharmaceutical cold chain space. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and is passionate about solving complex logistics challenges for clients in the life sciences sector.
What You’ll Do:
• Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the biopharma and perishable goods markets
• Sell both asset-based and brokerage transportation services with a focus on cold chain and time-sensitive logistics
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the biotech and reefer market
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and execution
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
What We’re Looking For:
• 3+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or perishable transportation
• Deep understanding of cold chain logistics, GxP compliance, and time-critical shipping
• Proven ability to sell across multiple transportation modes (LTL, FTL, air, expedited)
• Strong network within the biopharma ecosystem (preferred)
• Self-starter with a hunter mentality and a track record of exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel as needed
