Field Service Engineer £35,000 - £37,000
Location: Thames Valley
Hours: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive + overtime
The Opportunity:
A great opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a leading generator specialist, supporting maintenance and repair of diesel generators across the South West. You’ll carry out planned servicing, diagnostics, and breakdown support across both customer-owned and rental units.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing of diesel generators
* Diagnose and repair faults on-site and in the field
* Carry out site surveys as needed
* Participate in on-call rota for emergency support
* Maintain clean, safe, and compliant working environments
What You'll Need:
* Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant apprenticeship
* Experience servicing diesel generators (FG Wilson, Cummins, etc.)
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence
* ECS/CSCS or CCNSG card (not essential – training provided)
Pay & Overtime Rates:
* Weekdays: Standard / Time & Half / Double Time (depending on hours)
* Saturdays: Time & Half / Double Time
* Sundays & Bank Holidays: Double Time
