We are looking for a technician to support the work of our Art and Performing Arts departments. You will be working alongside a motivated and successful team of people that are supporting young people in developing their skills and offering them a broad-based curriculum.
1. The role is offered based on working 17 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (school term time plus 1 week).
2. The purpose of the technician’s role is to work as a member of the Academy’s strong teaching teams, supporting in delivering practical lessons. Our technicians are integral to the effective running of our classes. Responsibilities include preparing resources, supporting students in the classroom, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

1. About you: The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with commitment, energy, and drive. IT skills and practical knowledge of sound and lighting systems, as well as workshop skills, are desirable.
2. This role involves supporting staff and students across key stages, with deployment to various departments as needed. It requires meticulous organization, a positive attitude, and engagement in staff training. Health and Safety training will be provided.
