Albert Bartlett is a leading UK food manufacturing company. We are looking for a Production Team Leader to lead our backshift operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leadership & Team Development
o Lead and motivate a team of production operatives during the backshift.
o Support team training, coaching and skills development.
o Create a positive, collaborative and high‑performing team culture.
* Production & Performance Management
o Oversee production operations to ensure all targets are achieved.
o Maintain workflow efficiency, making adjustments where necessary.
o Ensure product quality meets company and customer expectations.
* Safety, Hygiene & Quality Assurance
o Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards.
o Support quality control processes and expedite any issues promptly.
o Maintain a clean, safe and well‑organised work environment.
* Problem‑Solving & Continuous Improvement
o Respond to operational challenges and find effective solutions.
o Use production metrics and shift performance data to recommend improvements.
o Work closely with management to drive best practice and efficiency.
* Communication & Coordination
o Act as the link between production staff and management.
o Keep clear, open communication across the shift team.
o Support smooth handovers between shifts.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as a Production Team Leader, Line Leader, Shift Leader, or similar manufacturing leadership role.
* Strong people‑management and communication skills.
* Good understanding of production processes (food manufacturing experience preferred).
* Ability to problem‑solve and make sound decisions under pressure.
* A proactive, organised and hands‑on approach.
* Willingness to work regular backshift hours.
