Key Responsibilities
* Support the Registered Manager in the effective running of the home
* Ensure high quality, child-centred care that meets regulatory standards
* Lead, supervise and develop a skilled residential care team
* Promote safeguarding and take immediate action to protect children from harm and abuse
* Build strong relationships with families, professionals and partner agencies
* Support the implementation of therapeutic practices in the home
* Ensure safe, well-maintained environments and high standards of health and safety in the home
Candidate Requirements
* QCF level 3 in Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
* Extensive leadership or management experience in a children's residential setting
* Strong understanding of robust safeguarding and Child Protection practices
* Strong understanding of Children's Homes Regulations 2015
* Demonstrate the ability to lead, supervise and develop staff
* Experience working effectively with children with disabilities and their families
