Job Overview
Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for an Electrically biased maintenance position with one of our clients. The engineer will undertake electrical maintenance on machinery within an industrial manufacturing site. The role offers full training and development in company and manufacturing systems, along with an excellent starting salary.
The Role
1. Perform electrical maintenance on production machinery, focusing on both planned and reactive tasks.
2. Assist in setting up PPMs weekly and participate in installation projects.
3. Work primarily on front-line electrical maintenance, requiring experience in a pressurised maintenance environment.
4. Work in a semi-automated site utilizing a variety of PLCs. Experience with fault finding on PLCs is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
5. Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines on a rotating shift pattern.
Candidate Requirements
* Electrical maintenance background with relevant qualifications or apprenticeship.
* Strong electrical skills, including fault finding on inverters, motors, and drives.
* Interest in developing PLC and SCADA skills.
