Overview
Volunteer Graphic Design, infographics and visual communication - including website | London Development Trust
What difference will you make?
We are refreshing the story of our charity. Can you help make it POP visually? We have an innovative and unique approach to community work and social infrastructure, we are at once grassroots, and engaging with high level policy. We cross scales. But you wouldn't know it from our website. Grant funders, partners and other organisations go to our website and are a bit confused - or don't get the full spectrum of our work. Feedback is that we have missed out on many opportunities because of our lack of good online presence. You will help us to better communicate the humanity, passion and integrity of the work we do to raise the profile of our work, enabling us to secure more funding and partnerships in order to deliver more programmes benefitting more people. By raising our profile, we will be able to advocate though our research and thought leadership to have more impact on policy at central and local government levels to raising the profile of the importance of social sustainability.
What are we looking for?
Great graphic design skills. Infographics, interactive website design (possibly in the form of idocs). IT strategy, SEO optimisation, Analysis of our online impact. Empathy and understanding of how to visually communicate the values of our organisation. It would be great if you also have the ability to work with staff and train our team in updating the website, and the importance of why visual communication and a strong online presence is so important.
