Job Role: Project Engineer
Area: Medway Towns
Salary: £55k - £65k
My client is looking for a Project Engineer, focusing on pre-mobilisation, design coordination, and project delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead design surveys and provide detailed design survey information to our design team.
2. Conduct thorough reviews of tenders, focusing on design, programme, and risks.
3. Lead design Q&A sessions alongside Clients and the Project Delivery Team.
4. Submit and track RFIs to resolve design any project-related queries.
5. Create procurement documents and complete technical submittals.
6. Develop project programmes and highlight key risks.
7. Undertake Labour and Material measures.
8. Work closely with the Procurement Team to ensure all necessary materials, plant, and equipment are ordered before project mobilisation.
9. Raise ITTs, review sub-contractor quotes, and collaborate with the Commercial Team to award contracts.
10. Assist design-related communication.
11. Support the Project Manager and Contracts Manager in maintaining high standards of quality assurance throughout Projects
12. Take ownership of all project-specific Contractor Design Portion (CDP) elements.
