Teacher of Physics, Winchburgh Academy, 35 hours per week, Permanent, Closing Date: 9th June 2025

Winchburgh Academy is a new state-of-the-art secondary school that opened in August 2022, designed to promote twenty-first-century learning, creativity, and digital technologies. The school features sports facilities of the highest standard, including sports halls, a 25m swimming pool, and outdoor artificial grass pitches.
The school initially opened with a S1 cohort, with expected growth each year to reach a capacity of 660 pupils by 2028. In August 2025, the school will have approximately 260 students (S1-S4), with plans for future expansion to accommodate up to 1,210 pupils. As of August 2025, there will be around 20 teaching staff.

A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland are essential.

The fee for Full PVG Scheme Membership is £59; existing members pay £18.
