A dynamic and fast-paced retail business with a strong European footprint is seeking a Management Accountant to join its Group Finance team on a temporary basis. The company operates across multiple markets and offers a collaborative, commercially focused environment.
The Role:
This is a Temporary Management Accountant role - immediate starting availability is essential! You'll be supporting the Group Finance function with core management accounting duties, financial analysis and business partnering. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
* Support month-end close and trial balance reconciliations
* Process and analyse large datasets for reporting purposes
* Provide financial support to cost centre managers
* Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
* Help manage internal SLAs and stakeholder relationships
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, AAT) or QBE with relevant experience
* Strong Excel skills and experience with general ledger systems
* Comfortable working with large volumes of data
* Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
* Exposure to payroll or HR finance processes (desirable)
* Experience in a retail or FMCG environment is a plus.
