Key Responsibilities of the Specialist Tutor:
* Deliver high-quality, focused sessions in your area of expertise.
* Support students with diverse learning needs, including those in alternative provision.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and encouragement.
* Collaborate with staff to develop resources and strategies that enhance student outcomes.
Requirements for the Specialist Tutor:
* A recognised teaching qualification or substantial experience in your specialist subject.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching to individual learner needs.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
* A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
* An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
