Spanning 140 miles between Old Oak Common and Birmingham Curzon Street, the project will deliver the design, installation and commissioning of high-speed track infrastructure capable of supporting speeds of up to 360 km/h (225 mph).
This includes approximately 280 miles of track, alongside complex logistics, systems integration, and testing and commissioning responsibilities.
Lot 3 represents a critical section of the route into Birmingham, placing you at the heart of a nationally significant programme that will transform connectivity, capacity and economic growth across the UK.

We are seeking an exceptional Project Commercial Director to lead the commercial strategy and delivery for Lot 3, a major and complex section of the HS2 Track Systems programme.

You will play a pivotal role in: Driving commercial performance and value across the full project lifecycle Leading and developing a high-performing commercial team Ensuring robust contract management, risk mitigation and financial control Influencing strategic decision-making within a high-profile joint venture environment Building collaborative relationships across the Alliance to deliver shared success Your team Candidates will be based in HS2s Birmingham office and may be required to visit client offices in London, located near Euston Station on occasion.
