About us
At Parkwood Care we do things differently...
With more than 60 combined years of experience across both academic and social care mediums, the management and directorial team are committed to affecting change within children's homes. We use a trauma informed approach by specifically using PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) and respond to our young people in a manner that they have both been missing and deserve.
Our homes are beautiful and befit what we believe a young person must have access to. Children's homes should not feel like institutions, they should feel like home. Furthermore, our professional parents are trained specifically to respond to our young people using consistent and positive language that enables them to feel safe, supported and able to develop socially.
