Job Summary
As a Care Assistant at Barchester care home, you will help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive high‑quality care and support. Your day will involve assisting residents with daily living, providing support and companionship, supporting food and drink, following care plans, and ensuring one‑to‑one time with each resident. This role offers varied and rewarding work in a compassionate environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and hygiene. • Provide companionship and share moments with residents. • Support residents with food and drink while following established care plans. • Ensure each resident receives sufficient one‑to‑one time and individual support. • Adapt to the varied tasks and needs that arise each day.
Qualifications
* Some experience of caring for older people.
* Can‑do attitude and excellent communication skills.
* Empathy, warm‑heartedness, and compassion to deliver high standards of care.
* Training will be provided.
