Customer Supply Manager
Our client is looking for a Customer Supply Manager to join their dynamic team and take the lead on the end-to-end planning and supply process between their global suppliers and key retail customers.
In this pivotal role, you'll be the go-to person for managing product availability, forecasting, and inventory health ensuring that an exceptional service is delivered to customers. Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
* Act as the main supply chain contact for major customer accounts
* Own medium to long-term demand forecasting, working closely with commercial teams.
* Monitor inventory levels and forecast accuracy, identifying opportunities to improve stock health
* Collaborate with customer service to resolve any service or transport-related issues.
* Lead customer supply meetings and drive performance improvement initiatives.
* Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment with customer needs.
* Track key KPIs and conduct root cause analyses for service issues.
* Drive and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
* Understand customer assortments and support team knowledge-sharing.
Key skills and experience required:
* Experience in a supply chain or planning role, ideally in food or FMCG.
* Strong working knowledge of ERP and planning tools (SAP, Slimstock preferred).
* Demonstrated success in managing complex customer relationships and projects.
* Understanding of factory planning and supply processes.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and confident working with large data sets.
* Calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
