Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant

Pay: £12.21-£12.82ph + Holiday, Pension & Adecco Benefits
Contract Details: Temporary to Permanent - Full time Monday-Friday
Hours: 8am-4pm - 37.5 total hours per week

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to meet financial reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in timely and accurate payment processing
2. Manage daily accounts payable functions
3. Support with European bank reconciliations
4. Maintain up-to-date supplier information
5. Aid in meeting VAT requirements for European operations
6. Verify changes in supplier banking details
7. Provide assistance during colleagues' absences
Qualifications:
1. A Level / Graduate standard, or equivalent
2. Currently studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT or equivalent)
3. Basic accounting experience, whether through study, business, or practice
Skills Needed:
1. Strong multitasking and prioritisation abilities
2. Proficiency in IT packages (Microsoft, Sage, Datacor, etc.)
