Site Administrator - Stornoway | Civil Engineering | Energy Project | Temporary or Permanent | Full-Time | Site-based | Up to 3 Years of Project Work Secured
We are recruiting on behalf of our civil engineering client for an experienced Site Administrator to join their team on a long-term Energy project based in Stornoway. This role offers flexibility to join on either a temporary or permanent basis and provides an excellent opportunity to be involved in a major infrastructure development.
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the on-site project team
* Maintain and manage document control systems and procedures
* Coordinate incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring accurate filing and distribution
* Support the team with timesheet processing, reports, and general project coordination
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments as required
* Assist with procurement tracking, deliveries, and maintaining project records
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar Site Administrator, Document Controller, or Project Support role
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Comfortable working in a site-based environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and document control software
* Previous experience in the construction or civil engineering sector is highly desirable
Role Details
* Full-time position, Monday to Friday
* Based on-site in Stornoway
* Opportunity to join on a permanent or long-term temporary contract
* Approx. three years of confirmed work on the current project
* Competitive salary or day/hourly rate depending on engagement type
* This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant energy infrastructure project while securing long-term work in the Western Isles.
