Job Description: Oxbridge Summer Scholars Student Supervisors
We are currently seeking multiple Student Supervisors to join our Dec 2025 programme. It's a full-time in-person position, including working weekends and evenings.
* 8-20 Dec, Oxford
What are the main responsibilities for this role?
* Overall responsibility for the safeguarding of students and student behaviour
* Resident in college for all weeks of the programme plus an additional preparation day; eating meals in college with students and staff.
* Run timetabled evening activities and weekend excursions for students (with Programme Manager)
* Assist Programme Manager and Head of Programme with administrative tasks so OSS runs smoothly day-to-day (e.g. report student attendance from each seminar, print materials for tutors)
* Assist students’ arrivals and departures; show them to their rooms, help them settle in
* Taking initiative to deal with situations such as student illness; travel issues etc
* Monitor student whereabouts and curfew at 10pm each evening
* Capture daily photo/video content that can be used for our social media
* 24 hour emergency contact for students
Requirements
* Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* Experience working with high school students preferable
* Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for enhanced DBS.
