About the Role
Due to exciting new business wins and continued growth, we are looking for a Senior / Principal Nuclear Safety Consultant to join our expanding team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid setup.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage nuclear safety projects, providing high-quality technical consultancy to clients within the Defence or Civil Nuclear Power sectors.
2. Develop safety cases, assessments, and strategies in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
3. Engage with clients to understand their needs, define project requirements, and ensure project delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing expert guidance and technical support in nuclear safety.
5. Conduct risk assessments and safety evaluations, with experience or exposure to Probabilistic Safety Analysis (PSA) being a desirable asset.
Skills & Experience Required
1. Proven experience in Nuclear Safety Consultancy within Defence or Civil Power industries.
2. Strong knowledge of nuclear safety regulations, safety case development, and safety management processes.
3. Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
4. UK residency is essential due to security requirements in the defence sector.
5. Experience in Probabilistic Safety Analysis (PSA) is advantageous but not essential.
