Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Logistics Supervisor to lead and manage our newly established logistics team. This role is critical to ensuring efficient warehouse and logistics operations, driving process improvements, and supporting the company's continued growth in international trade and fulfilment services. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, strong logistics experience, and the ability to build and manage a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the logistics team, setting goals and monitoring performance.
* Develop, implement, and optimise logistics and warehouse processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
* Supervise team members, assign tasks, and provide training and development opportunities.
* Oversee inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound activities, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
* Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers (FedEx, UPS, DPD, etc.), and other partners to ensure smooth transportation and delivery of goods.
* Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks, and warehouse management system (WMS) updates.
* Ensure compliance with customs, VAT, duty requirements, and other regulatory standards.
* Track key operational KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management.
* Handle operational issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Skills & Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management, with team leadership responsibilities.
* Strong knowledge of cross-border logistics, warehouse operations, or e-commerce fulfilment is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
* Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
* Good English communication skills (both written and spoken) to handle international logistics documents.
* Proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude.
