Class 2 Driver – Permanent Role (Multidrop with Overnight Stays)Basildon£30,043 per annum + £25.50 per night (overnight allowance)Start times typically from 4am | Overnight stays requiredWe’re seeking a Class 2 Driver to join a long-established distribution business based in Basildon on a permanent contract.Start times are typically 4:00am. Following an overnight stay, the next shift must not begin before 6:00am unless specifically authorised.Key Details:
* Nationwide multidrop deliveries and collections
* All trucks fitted with sleeper cabs and tail lifts
* Overnight rest taken at designated truck parks
* Expense forms must be completed with valid receipts
* Start times: 4am day one / 6am minimum post-overnight
What You’ll Need:
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
* CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* 2 years’ Driving experience
* Previous multidrop experience preferred
* Flexibility to stay away overnight as standard
* International driving experience (beneficial but not essential)
* Strong reliability, professionalism, and understanding of driver compliance
