Fife College, as lead partner for the Hospitality Skills Project within the Tay Cities Regional Deal, is seeking a motivated and organised Project Officer to support the delivery of this transformative £2m programme.
This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in tackling sector skills shortages, creating career pathways, and building a stronger, more inclusive hospitality workforce for the future. The role is subject to final approval of the project funding, expected Autumn .
About the Role

Your proven background in the Hospitality sector will be key to support this project.
You will join a supportive and ambitious team who will work with diverse partners, from schools and colleges to employers and local authorities focusing on creating opportunities and supporting inclusive growth within the hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the Project Manager in delivering the Hospitality Skills Project to agreed milestones.
· Coordinate project activities, events, and stakeholder engagement across the region
· Help manage communications with employers, training providers, schools, and colleges.
· Collect and report project data, ensuring outcomes are tracked and delivered.
· Support and review, where appropriate, the design and review of course materials and interventions delivered by grant awarded organisations.
· Participate in the assessment of grant submissions and the compilation of feedback for both successful and unsuccessful submissions.
Qualifications and Experience
· Essential:
o HND or SCQF Level 8 equivalent qualification in a relevant topic.
o Experience in the hospitality sector with an education or skills development background.
o Evidence of job specific CPD.
o Experience of working in a project, programme, or partnership environment.
o Experience in the hospitality sector with education or skills development.
· Desirable:
o Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, Agile).
o Experience in the education, skills development, or hospitality sector.
o Experience of working on publicly funded projects or programmes.
Skills and Attributes
· Essential:
o Strong organisational and administrative skills.
o Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a range of stakeholders.
o Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
o Competence in IT and data management (MS Office, project management tools, databases).
o Ability to collate data to inform effective reporting.
o Organisation skills to ensure effective and efficient use of resources.
o Good communication skills, including presentation skills.
o Excellent relationship management and networking skills.
· Desirable
o Knowledge of project management processes and methodologies.
o Understanding of monitoring, evaluation, and reporting frameworks.
Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
