JOB ALERT: Can you get 30 kids to belt a harmony, stay in tune, and still laugh at your terrible puns? Then read on…
We're on the hunt for a Musical Director at Theatretrain Kings Lynn
Part-time
• Saturdays only
• Permanent role
• Based in Kings Lynn
Are you the kind of person who...
* Can go from rock ballad to showtune in the space of one warm-up?
* Believes a good harmony can solve most of life's problems?
* Thinks Saturdays should be spent belting out bangers, not doing the weekly shop?
Then stop scrolling — this is your moment
Who are we working with?
A brilliant bunch of 6–18-year-olds who will go from shy to show-stopper in weeks — with your help. Our Saturday mornings (9:45am–12:45pm) at Springwood High School are packed with singing, drama, dance, and most importantly, joy. There may be the odd Sunday rehearsal before a big show, but we promise the buzz is worth it.
What's the role?
We're looking for a Musical Director who can:
* Teach songs in a fun and engaging way
* Create powerful harmonies (we want goosebumps)
* Adapt to different voices and personalities
* Encourage vocal health and safe singing technique
* Lead with energy, patience, and a good sense of humour
* Play a bit of piano? Even better
* Work the Theatretrain magic (don't worry, we'll show you how)

You'll need:
Experience in music, singing or musical theatre (professional or training)
Some experience working with young people
An up-to-date DBS (or be willing to get one)
A love for musical theatre and watching young talent shine
Ready to turn up the volume on your weekends?

We'd love to hear your story, your sound, and why you're the right person to help our students find their voice.
One final note: We know your time is precious (unlike your vocal cords, which are PRICELESS), so thank you for considering us. Now... warm up those vocal cords — we can't wait to meet you
