6 Month Rolling Contract | Adoption Team | Supportive Management | Flexibility Encouraged
Leaders in Care are working with a forward-thinking Local Authority in the West Midlands that is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Adoption Team on an interim basis.

Responsibilities
* Undertake assessments of prospective adopters, including PAR (Prospective Adopter Reports).
* Support the matching process and contribute to family finding for children with a plan of adoption.
* Work closely with regional adoption agencies and other professionals to ensure timely and stable placements.
* Provide post-adoption support to children, families, and adoptive parents.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
* Attend relevant panels and contribute to care planning processes.
Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
* Demonstrable experience in adoption, family finding, or permanence planning.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance (e.g., Adoption and Children Act 2002).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-agency team.

As this is a statutory role you are required to have a Social Work qualification and full registration to SWE & 3 Years Permanent Experience
