Overview
Registered Nurse/ODP role at NHS Tayside – Theatres and Anaesthesia, Maternity/Gynaecology Theatre, Scrub and Circulating Role, Full-time.
Location: Ninewells Hospital. The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote evidence-based patient care within the Maternity/Gynaecology operating departments. The theatres environment is fast-paced and requires teamwork and flexibility.
The successful applicant will be based at the above site but may be required to work at other NHS Tayside locations as required.

Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to promote evidence-based patient care in perioperative settings.
* Assist in the Theatres and Anaesthesia environment (Maternity/Gynaecology) as a Scrub and Circulating Nurse/OPD role.
* Assess, plan and implement perioperative care for patients.
* Contribute to a team-based, patient-centred approach in a fast-paced theatre setting.
* Be adaptable to varying workplace locations within the NHS Tayside area as required.
* Maintain professional standards and participate in continuing professional development (CPD).
* Hours of work: 37 hours per week, with day/night rotation and on-call if required by clinical area.
Qualifications
* Registration on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RN A, or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register, or equivalent (HPC ODP NVQ Level 3 / Diploma).
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to previous experience.
* Good communication skills and the ability to assess, plan and implement care for perioperative patients.
* Support for continuing professional development and degree-level modules (dependant on area of practice).
