Salary: Up to £33,150.00 FTE per year (depending on experience, training, and qualifications)
Hendon Hospital in London, part of Circle Health Group, offers opportunities for Ophthalmic Practitioners to join their team, primarily based in Willesden. This is a part-time role for 22 hours a week, requiring flexible shift coverage.
Duties of This Role Include
* Coordinate outpatient ophthalmic services, supporting seamless patient pathways, and developing nursing practices in ophthalmology.
* Support the team in delivering care that improves individual and community health.
* Demonstrate compassion, empathy, respect, and dignity in patient care.
* Develop personal clinical skills and knowledge.
* Communicate effectively with the care team.
* Advocate for patient safeguarding and raise concerns about care when necessary.
* Enhance patient experience through continuous improvement.
* Lead a team including Consultants, Nurses, HCAs, and administrative staff.
* Responsible for care planning and delivery of personalized patient care.
What We Are Looking For
* Degree-level education or equivalent.
* Relevant clinical professional development, preferably RN with valid NMC registration.
* Maths and English GCSEs at grades A-C or equivalent.
* Proficiency in PC use and healthcare software.
* No specific qualifications required as training will be provided.
