Job Title: Science Teacher with Biology
Location: Tower Hamlets, Greater London
Salary: £36,745 - £56,959 per annum with TLR
We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable KS5 Biology Teacher to join a well establish science department in a school in an outstanding secondary school in Tower Hamlets, London. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Science to KS3 & 4 students and Biology at KS5, ensuring that they develop a strong foundation in the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons that engage and inspire students
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners
Monitor and assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement effective Science programs and initiatives
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Science education and incorporate them into your teaching practiceRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Science to GCSE level students
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education
Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
