Position: CCTV Drainage Engineer

Location: Budds Farm WTW, Havant, Hampshire

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours

Salary: £30,500 per annum (basic pay, overtime, on call allowance and bonuses)

About the Role

Due to continued growth and development, we are looking for customer-focused people to join us in our Utility Division for the Southern Water contract service. The role focuses on delivering effective solutions to wastewater network and drainage problems.

• Travel to residential sites in a two-person crew, using our custom-equipped fleet of high-tech vans.
• Survey the network of drainage systems.
• Assess pipe conditions and produce high-quality reports with state-of-the-art drain surveying equipment.
• Ensure jobs attended are completed.
• Troubleshoot any problems that arise on the job.
• Liaise with the team of Technical Specialists regarding access and equipment issues.
• Ensure safe site setup.
• Update the job notes on VISTEC.
• Take photos of the setup, inspection chamber, and whole site.
• Deliver good customer service.
• Maintain good H&S practice while carrying out works.
• Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them.
• Perform any other reasonable ad-hoc duties, tasks or projects as requested by management.

About You

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, respectful, and comply with health and safety standards. Experience with OS19X equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g., NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.
