SEN Teaching Assistant in Lutterworth and surrounding areas – Let’s Answer a Few Questions What’s this role all about? Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in schools and specialist settings. You’ll be helping children and young people feel safe, understood, and able to access learning – sometimes 1:1, sometimes in small groups.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils with a range of additional needs across mainstream schools, special schools, and alternative provisions.
* Provide consistent, reliable, and empathetic support to build trust and provide stability.
* Work with children who have Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, speech & language needs, and complex or challenging behaviours.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum of 6 months experience in SEN, care, youth work, or education.
* Calm, patient, and emotionally intuitive with a passion for building positive relationships.
* A flexible approach where progress looks different for every child.
* Attitude and approach are valued; relevant qualifications are helpful but not required.
