Fixed Term Contract from October 2025 to Summer of 2028 The Role The Senior Recruitment Manager for UK & Ireland 2028 Limited will be responsible for all aspects of the end-to-end recruitment and selection process throughout the next 3 years of this exciting project. This is a fast paced, high volume recruitment role with hundreds of roles to be recruited. The role holder will lead on all recruitment operations matters, including scoping of roles/needs assessments, advertising, advising managers on recruitment best practice, CV screening/shortlisting, interviewing, developing interview and assessment tools, offer process, and onboarding of new starters. What will you be doing? Create a recruitment and attraction strategy to achieve our bold hiring plans for the next 3 years Lead and advise hiring managers on all aspects of the recruitment journey from requirements gathering/scoping, attraction/advertising, interview selection, assessment tools and digital assessment Develop an inclusive and progressive suite of assessment tools appropriate for all levels of hiring across UK & Ireland 2028 Limited Create and develop an employer brand which broadens our candidate reach and assists our EDI agenda Continual stakeholder and relationship management both internally and externally, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience and delivering hiring managers at all levels a professional and expert recruitment service Regular reporting to senior management on key recruitment metrics Manage key suppliers and stakeholders including our ATS provider, advertising and recruitment partners Responsibility for the offer and onboarding journey of employees, ensuring an engaging and efficient process Responsible for the management and development of a team of 1 initially Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet the changing priorities. Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained. What are we looking for? Essential skills and experience Proven senior experience of high-volume in-house recruitment and selection, ideally in sport Experience of managing and using Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Talos 360 Previous experience of working for major events Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple roles and projects at the same time Experience of designing competency frameworks and assessment tools Proven experience of driving EDI agendas through the recruitment and onboarding process Strong people manager with proven experience Professional services experience with commercial and business acumen Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish relationships at all levels Strong organisation skills with ability to deliver under pressure Demonstrates discretion and confidentiality Why apply? Where is the role based? Our head office is based at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, however depending on your role you may be required to travel across the UK and Ireland to our 9 Stadiums and 8 Host Cities, with some roles being based in those locations. As an event delivery organisation, it’s important that we have regular time together in the office and currently employees come together at least 2/3 days a week at HQ in Wembley, with the number of days in HQ increasing as the project develops with a minimum of 3-4 days needed in 2026-2027 and full time in the year of 2028.
