Overview
Step into a key role driving the creation of a cutting-edge Digital Environment that spans the entire product lifecycle. You'll be at the forefront of implementing a next-generation integrated MES (Manufacturing Execution System) toolset—empowering our teams to deliver world-class solutions and outstanding value to our customers.
Responsibilities
* Develop/improve manufacturing processes to support a new Manufacturing Execution System by capturing and studying requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing new manufacturing digital solutions; identifying Leonardo stakeholders and supporting stakeholder management; understanding feedback from Leonardo stakeholders; conferring with vendors or external partners; and assessing the business benefits of the new integrated digital environment for end users and identifying KPIs to track adoption and benefits following introduction of the new tool.
* Provide input on design decisions for interfacing applications.
* Support the development of the detailed work plan to schedule, track, and forecast the assigned work; assist in prioritizing work packages within the Future MES project.
* Assist in preparation of content for technical reviews including technical steerco, design reviews, and change review boards.
* Validate new/enhanced feature/functionality test scripts and develop materials to support stakeholder engagement.
* Collaborate with business SMEs to identify regression testing elements for new/enhanced feature/functionality user acceptance testing.
* Create additional user acceptance test scripts/criteria for new/enhanced feature/functionality, including “break” tests.
* Serve as the project's subject matter expert to validate testing and undertake show-and-tell activities.

* Ability to take ownership of a work package; planning and scheduling own workload and the work of others.
* Operational understanding of project work and how the team's work impacts other project activities.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience of multiple phases of the Product Life Cycle and the associated processes.
* Experience of peer reviewing the work of others inside a product team.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the risk/reward process associated with manufacturing activity informing the activities of a product team.
* Ability to communicate concepts in a non-technical way.
* Confidence and ability to challenge/respond to technical/process issues.
* Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
* Experience in capability and/or process development, demonstrating the ability to implement changes to working practices.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
