Salary: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified Key Stage 1 Teachers to work in vibrant and welcoming primary schools in Scunthorpe.
As a Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment, delivering the national curriculum, and supporting students' academic and emotional development. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of early childhood education and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
Responsibilities of Key Stage 1 Teacher:
* Plan, prepare and deliver creative and effective lessons to KS1 pupils
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress and development
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
* Support pupils with varying needs, including those with EAL or additional learning needs
* Engage in ongoing professional development and school activities
KS1 Teacher Skills & Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 across UK primary schools.
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS1
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Commitment to the academic and personal growth of all pupils
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
