The role
JDR Recruitment are recruiting for an Office Cleaner with a basic DBS check to work in Golborne, WA3.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise office areas including desks, floors, kitchens, and restrooms
- Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, and equipment
- Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors
- Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Report maintenance issues or hazards (e.g., broken equipment, spills)
- Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Person Specification:
Essential Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not always required)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Physically able to carry out cleaning duties
Desirable:
- Experience in office or commercial cleaning
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations (UK health & safety for hazardous substances)
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong work ethic
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Awareness of health and safety standards
- Professional and respectful attitude
We have 2 shift patterns available:
7am-9am Monday - Friday - 10 hours a week
OR
5pm-7am - 10 hours a week
Pay Rate:
£12.71 per hour
