We are excited to be working with an Outstanding mixed-gender secondary school in Redbridge to recruit a high-calibre Humanities Teacher for an ASAP start. This full-time, temporary position offers a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing faculty. We are looking for a versatile practitioner with a passion for History at KS3 and KS4, who is also comfortable delivering engaging Geography and RE lessons at KS3. Responsibilities
* Teach engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4 as a subject specialist
* Deliver inspirational Geography and RE lessons at KS3, fostering a broad understanding of the humanities
* Support students in achieving academic excellence through a creative and challenging curriculum
* Collaborate with a department of specialist teachers to maintain an outstanding quality of learning
* Participate in a strong culture of professional development and collaborative planning
* Implement strategies to help students reach their highest potential in public examinations
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in History or a related Humanities discipline
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching History at KS4 (GCSE)
* Must have the right to work in the UK
