Management Accountant Opportunity
Ashley Kate Finance is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Management Accountant on behalf of our client to join their dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and aims to make a tangible impact on business performance.
Responsibilities include:
1. Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, including sales accrual journals and fixed cost variance explanations.
2. Manage and monitor standard costing processes, including monthly cost rollups and variance analysis.
3. Conduct sales and margin analysis and reporting, covering daily sales, monthly PBFE, and ad hoc analyses.
4. Analyze and forecast labor costs.
5. Track and process sales rebates and discounts, including monthly journal entries.
6. Perform production usage variance analysis and tracking (MUC).
7. Maintain the customer tooling tracker and ensure accurate IFRS 15 postings.
8. Assist in preparing the annual budget and forecast.
9. Update and monitor inter-company transfer pricing annually.
10. Update standard labor and overhead rates annually.
11. Complete ad hoc tasks as required by management or the wider business.
Ideal candidate profile:
* Proven experience in a management accounting role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
* Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
* Strong knowledge of standard costing and sales margin analysis.
* Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines and manage competing priorities.
* Analytical skills to provide insights and drive operational efficiency.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), Word, and PowerPoint.
* Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
* Self-motivated, dedicated, and a collaborative team player.
