Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Neonatal Nursing team within the Neonatal Unit at The Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley as a Senior Staff Nurse. The Neonatal Unit provides Level 2 care to patients and their families within Greater Glasgow and Clyde and works in collaboration with other Neonatal Units in the region, providing Level 3 care.
Responsibilities
* Assessment of care needs and development of programmes of care, and/or implementation and evaluation of these programmes ensuring the delivery of high‑quality care to patients and their families.
* In the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse or deputy, cover to ensure the effective operation of the clinical area and take charge on shift.
Qualifications
* Registered nurse, registered child’s nurse or registered midwife.
* Experience in the field of Neonatal Nursing, with Neonatal Nursing Qualified in Specialty essential.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team.
* Demonstrated commitment to family‑centred care, continuing professional development and an understanding of our service and the specific needs of our patients and their families.
* Live NMC UK pin required to be considered for this post.
