As an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences all aspects of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your role involves planning and implementing activities that delight our Residents, assisting the Home Manager with fundraising events, and encouraging socialization and engagement based on Residents’ hobbies. Your approach will always be rooted in kindness.
We are looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably with background in developing activity programs. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, planning, organizational, and IT skills are essential. You should be considerate and kind in all communications.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns are required.
