They are seeking a School Business Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is crucial for managing the financial and administrative operations of the school, contributing to its strategic growth and success.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the school\'s budget and financial planning
* Manage procurement, contracts, and vendor relationships
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Lead on HR functions, including staff recruitment and training
* Provide strategic input on resource allocation and asset management
Essential Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a similar financial management role within an educational setting
* Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and accounting principles
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite
* Understanding of HR processes and best practices
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Recognised accounting or finance qualification
* Experience with school management software
* Knowledge of educational regulatory frameworks
Please note that you will be required to work on-site 4/5 days per week, however, there is some flexibility to work 1 day from home. They also provide a generous pension scheme.
