Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Apprenticeship Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Part of maintenance team providing varied support to production, site services and facilities.
Maintenance, repair and development of plant and equipment.
* Assist in the inspection, testing, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and control panels.
* Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to minimise downtime.
* Learn to diagnose faults and carry out basic repairs under supervision.
* Help maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
* Follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
* Participate in training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship program.
* Shadow experienced engineers to gain practical knowledge of manufacturing equipment such as motors, PLCs, conveyors, and automated systems.
* Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Skills/Experience:
* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
* You will be required to undertake an electrical apprenticeship.
* Interest in electrical engineering and problem-solving.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
* Positive attitude
* Creative and able to work under own initiative and as part of a Team
Training Provided
* Day release to attend college or training provider.
* On-the-job mentoring by qualified engineers.
* Exposure to a wide range of electrical systems and manufacturing technologies.
